SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $95,000

JOB SUMMARY:

The Business Operations Director plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of REDCO’s various business entities. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Business Operations Director will employ strategic vision, cultural awareness, and business acumen to drive operational efficiency, achieve organizational objectives, and contribute to the overall success of Sicangu Co. They will directly supervise subsidiary managers and ensure they have the resources, direction, and support to meet their financial and strategic goals.

As a member of the Sicangu Co Leadership Team, this position comes with great responsibility in maintaining the health of our ecosystem and achieving our economic goals. They will directly oversee the success of Rosebud Lending , Rosebud
Construction, Rosebud Office Solutions, Sicangu Propane, Sicangu Cooling and Heating, Rosebud Facilities Management, Lakolya Waoniya, Rosebud Farm Company, Wolakota and additional business entities that are developed in the future.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Operational Leadership:

  • Provide operational guidance to subsidiary managers to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.

  • Monitor the performance of each subsidiary and implement improvement plans when necessary to optimize efficiency and productivity.

  • Support budgeting and resource allocation for the subsidiaries in coordination with the Chief Economist and Chief Financial Officer.

  • Performance Management: o Set performance goals for each subsidiary manager, in line with corporate objectives, and monitor progress towards achieving them in collaboration with the Chief Economist. o Conduct performance evaluations for subsidiary managers and provide constructive feedback to promote professional growth and development. o Address any performance issues or conflicts that may arise within the subsidiaries promptly and efficiently.

  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and standardization across subsidiaries to enhance operational efficiency and reduce redundancies. o Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to drive increased productivity and cost- effectiveness.

  • Risk Management: Work closely with the executive team to identify and mitigate operational risks across all subsidiaries. o Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions to operations.

  • Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with other directors and senior management to lead and support ecosystem-wide initiatives and projects. o Ensure seamless coordination and execution of cross-functional projects, involving multiple subsidiaries and departments.

  • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that all subsidiaries are in compliance with relevant industry regulations and legal requirements. o Establish and maintain strong governance and internal control mechanisms to safeguard company assets and maintain ethical practices.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Education and/or experience in Business Administration, Management, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of business operations, management, and strategic implementation

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and build relationships across the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate, driving performance and achieving results.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, intra-organizational collaboration and operational efficiency.

  • Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
