SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $95,000 dependent on experience
JOB SUMMARY:
The Administrative Services Officer plays a pivotal role within the Sicangu Co ecosystem, managing the internal services that enable REDCO subsidiaries and affiliated entities to meet their goals. Reporting directly to the CEO, the
Administrative Services Officer will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, fostering collaboration, and enhancing communication across the ecosystem. As the administrator of the Sicangu Co Services Hub this leader is responsible for providing reliable, practical, and values-based management and administration for a wide range of functions, including marketing, facilities, office administration, human resources, learning & development, fundraising, information technology, and coordinating with finance and other core services.
The incumbent will employ practical problem-solving, cultural awareness, and attention to detail to enable the Sicangu Co ecosystem and its members to be prepared for challenges in service to the vision of a connected and thriving community.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
As a core member of the leadership team, this position comes with great responsibility in maintaining the health of our ecosystem.
Oversight and Coordination:
Oversee and coordinate the functions of the Sicangu Co Services Hub.
Directly manage leaders of Marketing, Facilities and Human Resources
Oversee Office Administration, Information Technology and Internal Communications
Coordinate the services of Learning & Development, Fund Development, Finance Federal Contracting, and relations with Tribal Council and the Boards of Directors as part of the Services Hub
Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for the Hub departments and services in coordination with the managers and the Chief Financial Officer.
Administer internal management service agreements for the Services Hub and ensure staff time and services are appropriately documented and reported across the ecosystem.
Collaboration and Communication
Promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork rooted in Sicangu values among all entities, departments, and ecosystem organizations, encouraging the exchange of ideas, opportunities and best practices.
Implement communication strategies to ensure effective information flow between subsidiaries, ecosystem partners and the executive team.
Facilitate regular meetings and forums to promote knowledge-sharing, problem-solving, and cross- functional cooperation.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process optimization and standardization across the ecosystem to enhance operational efficiency and reduce redundancies.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to drive increased productivity and cost- effectiveness.
Compliance:
Ensure that all organizations are in compliance with relevant industry regulations and legal requirements.
Establish and maintain strong governance and internal control mechanisms to safeguard company assets and maintain ethical practices.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Education and/or experience in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Understanding of business operations and management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and build relationships across the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work with teams, learn quickly and respond to emerging needs
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, intra-organizational collaboration and operational efficiency.
Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
