Today we’re keeping it short and simple. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so a video must be worth a full newsletter, right?

We’re thrilled with the final product on this collaboration with Regenerosity Network and A Growing Culture!

To be honest, we have had some negative experiences working with outside media in the past. Some groups have come in with their own idea of our community and our story, and haven’t taken the time to listen and learn.

That wasn’t the case for this video. We were active participants in the planning process and helped craft the narrative and messaging of the story. Through this partnership, we each brought our strengths together, and we were able to tell our own story, but tell it in a more powerful way thanks to the talented folks at Regenerosity and AGC.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Native Nonprofit Day Fundraiser and Giveaway! Congratulations to our drawing winners, Naomi and Joan, who were the winners of Sicangu Co swag.

We would also like to extend a huge congratulations to the staff and students at Wakanyeja Tokeyahci, who celebrated the end of the school year this week! We’ll have more photos and updates to share in the coming weeks.
