CLASSIFICATION: Salary/Exempt

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,400 - $72,000 per year

JOB SUMMARY:

The General Manager of Rosebud Facilities Management (RFM) is responsible for strategic leadership, operational oversight, and financial performance of the company. In alignment with REDCO’s operations growth, the GM plays a key role in workforce development, business development, long-term planning, and stakeholder engagement to ensure RFM leverages opportunities and the needs of the community and region.

The ideal candidate is a visionary yet practical leader with strong experience in financial management, organizational development, collaboration, communication, and facilities operations – capable of growing a team toward long-term success while meeting immediate service needs.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Operational Leadership & Strategic Planning:

· Provide visionary leadership and oversee the strategic planning and execution of RFM goals, services, and projects.

· Develop and implement long- and short-term operational plans aligned with REDCO’s mission and priorities.

· Guide organizational decision-making, prioritizing high-impact initiatives and ensuring efficient service delivery.

· Write and manage facility service contracts with contracting entities.

Operations Management:

· Oversee the day-to-day management of all RFM services including facilities maintenance, construction, landscaping, custodial, and emergency repairs.

· Ensure quality assurance, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance are embedded across all operations.

· Utilize data, reporting, and performance metrics to monitor effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Financial Management:

· Develop, monitor, and manage operating, project, profit and loss budgets in collaboration with REDCO Finance Department.

· Review financial reports regularly to ensure cost-effectiveness, revenue generation, and financial sustainability.

· Oversee contracts, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure value and compliance.

Team Development:

· Lead the recruitment, development, and retention of a skilled, professional team.

· Foster a high-performing, inclusive work culture cantered on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

· Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to support staff growth and succession planning.

Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement:

· Identify and pursue growth opportunities including service expansion, grant opportunities, and new contracts.

· Maintain strong relationships with federal and tribal agencies, community partners, contractors, and clients.

· Represent RFM in community forums, tribal meetings, and REDCO board updates as needed.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

· Candidates must have at least 5+ years of experience in business management, including leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight

· Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field (preferred)

· Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate, driving performance and achieving results

· Excellent communication skills

· Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced and evolving environment

· Must be able to pass a state and/or federal background check tied to government/state contracts
