JOB SUMMARY:
The Payroll and RAMP Card Administrator provides comprehensive financial support to REDCO and its subsidiaries, with a primary focus on accurate and timely payroll processing and secondary support for the Ramp corporate card program. This role is responsible for managing employee payroll, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and overseeing Ramp card operations including transaction monitoring, coding compliance, system maintenance, and credit card account administration.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The Payroll and RAMP Card Administrator oversees the following key areas:
● Timekeeping and Attendance
● Payroll Calculations and Deductions
● Paycheck and Pay Statement Issuance
● Payroll Tax Reporting and Compliance
● Employee Leave Tracking
● Vendor Invoice Processing
● Account Reconciliation
● Payment Processing
● Vendor Management
● Process Employee Payroll Deductions
● Ramp Card Program Administration
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
● Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll using the payroll platform, including new hires, terminations, leave, and vendor checks
● Administer functions within the cloud-based payroll system
● Act as the liaison between the cloud-based payroll system and the Sicangu ecosystem
● Ensure proper coordination between payroll and human resources to maintain accurate employee data and comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
● Maintain employee records, ensuring accurate and timely entry of changes with proper authorization
● Generate payroll reports for the Finance Officer and CFO
● Reconcile and file payroll returns and reports
● Track and maintain employee leave accrual accounts
● Assist in the annual accounting audit
● Assist with recording vendor invoices in the accounting software
● Support the reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledger
● Aid in processing vendor payments and maintaining an organized filing system
● Monitor Ramp transactions daily to ensure timely and accurate expense coding
● Resolve transaction discrepancies and sync errors between Ramp and the accounting system
● Process new Ramp credit card applications and manage card issuance, limits, and user permissions
● Maintain Ramp user accounts, including onboarding and deactivation of employees
● Generate Ramp reports for reconciliation and management review
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
● Associate's degree in business administration or finance (required)
● Bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred)
● Three years administering payroll (required)
● Experience with accounts payable (preferred)
