*RFP* Consultant for Development of Teacher Apprenticeship Manual
Introduction
Wakanyeja Ki Tokeyahci is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide guidance and support for the development of a comprehensive Teacher Apprentice Manual. This manual will serve as a foundational resource to guide teacher apprentices, mentors, and program administrators through expectations, best practices, and program structures.
Purpose of the RFP
The purpose of this RFP is to identify a consultant with expertise in Lakota educator preparation, instructional design, and program development and oversee the creation of a Teacher Apprentice Manual that is both technically rigorous and aligned with the mission and values of Wakanyeja Ki Tokeyahci.
Qualifications
The ideal consultant will have:
Demonstrated experience in educator preparation or teacher training programs
Expertise in curriculum and/or instructional material development
Experience with apprenticeship or workforce development models (preferred)
Experience with culturally responsive education and/or work with Indigenous communities (preferred)
Ability to engage diverse partners and implement feedback
