JOB SUMMARY:
The IT Helpdesk Technician will support the daily technology needs across SicanguCo, including IT systems, devices, and user support. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring staff have reliable access to technology and systems that support both for-profit and non-profit programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
IT Support & Service Delivery
· Provide day-to-day technical support to staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
· Manage and maintain IT helpdesk requests, ensuring timely response and resolution.
· Support basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi connectivity and system access issues.
Systems, Equipment & Vendor Management
· Set up and configure computers, email accounts, and system access for new employees.
· Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment setup and recovery.
· Assist with maintaining IT inventory, including tracking devices, equipment, and software licenses.
· Assist with system updates, maintenance, and routine checks on devices and software.
· Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and maintain systems.
Documentation, Security & Compliance
· Help maintain documentation for IT processes, user guides, and SOPs.
· Promote and follow IT security best practices, including protecting sensitive information and reporting concerns.
· Maintain confidentiality.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma/GED required.
· Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Support, or a related field preferred.
· Equivalent combination of education and 1–3 years of IT support required.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
COMPENSATION:
Pay based on education, qualifications, experience, and salary history.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
