Full job description

The Grants and Donations Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with coordinating the financial and project management of all grants and donations awarded to Sicangu Co. This position will serve as one of the point person for non-profit/grant bookkeeping, utilizing Intaact financial accounting software to track all grant budgets, expenditures, and modifications. This position will assist with providing bi-weekly reports to all nonprofit/grant Directors detailing the state of accounts and grant projects and will serve as a liaison between all grant programs and the Sicangu Co Finance Office. In addition, this position will be responsible for assisting with all mandatory grant reporting requirements; coordinating with non-profit Directors as needed to ensure accurate and timely information is provided to granting agencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

● Assist with the accounting functions within Intacct for all grants and donations

● Assist with providing bi-weekly reports to non-profit and other grant Directors on all grant/programs

● Assist with managing a master grant reporting calendar, and coordinate and submit grant reports

● Coordinate with relevant parties to complete mandatory grant reporting

● Assist with the oversight of program budgets, including weekly reconciliation to Intaact

● Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly grant reimbursements and draw down requests as needed

● Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in grant compliance and accounting Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Needs to have good communication skills, time management skills, and public speaking skills. Evenings and weekends will be required on an as-needed basis. Experience with outreach and community organizing. Ability to create clear work plans to meet deadlines. Possess problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize. Possess basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have a valid drivers’ license and dependable transportation

COMPENSATION:

● Hourly Pay: $18-22/hour

● Position begins with an introductory period with the potential to become a full-time permanent position with benefits upon a successful performance review

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
