CLASSIFICATION: Temporary, Hourly
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sicangu Co Changemakers Coordinator supports community members and employees as they develop holistic health, helpfulness, and happiness at work, home, and in the community. The Sicangu Co Changemakers Coordinator is responsible for the planning and administration of the Sicangu Co Changemakers program. The Sicangu Co Changemakers program is a 10-week internship for 18-30 year olds that supports interns to become Wawokiya, helpers in the communities.
Essential Functions
· Communicate with facilitators through e-mail or phone call to confirm daily activities
· Plan daily internship activities and weekly training, as needed
· Manage logistics for the Sicangu Co Changemakers, including organizing transportation, ordering supplies, and submitting invoices to the finance department
· Lead program administration, including intern timekeeping, ongoing communication with participants, and document management.
· Supervise 1-2 Assistant Mentors, who will support the internship programming
· Supervise Sicangu Co Changemakers participants during all external partner visits and field trips.
· Create, distribute, and collect evaluations of both programs.
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Embrace the mission of the Sicangu Co Ecosystem and the 7Gen Vision.
· Ability to work in both a collaborative team setting as well as independently.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Familiarity with Office 365 products.
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
· Knowledge and experience working with youth and young adults including supporting, encouraging, and/or mentoring.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
· High School Diploma, some college preferred.
· Prior work experience, including references.
COMPENSATION:
● $19-21/hour
● Position is temporary through July 24, 2024.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
