REPORT: Administrative Operations Officer

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

LOCATION: Sicangu Co Headquarters Mission, SD

JOB SUMMARY:

The Operations Assistant will manage the daily operational activities across SicanguCo’s administrative services that includes insurance and facilities. The role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, helping to streamline processes and maintain efficient operations as we serve both for-profit and non-profit programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist with day-to-day operations across departments, including tracking facilities requests and routine cash flow submissions.

· Manage and maintain a professional filing system (physical and electronic) for operational documents, financial records, invoices, contracts, insurance etc.

· Coordinate meetings, internal events, and assist with operational check-ins.

· Support process improvements and SOP development as needed.

· Coordinate with vendors and service providers for both internal and external business operations.

· Help procure and track office supplies and equipment for Sicangu Co, ensuring stock levels are maintained.

· As needed, provide customer service by answering phones, responding to emails, and assisting with visitor inquiries.

· As needed, coordinate business-related events, meetings, or travel arrangements.

· Maintain confidentiality.

· Assist with other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

· High School Diploma/GED required.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

COMPENSATION:

Salary based on education, qualifications, experience, and salary history. The position is classified as an

Operations Assistant position according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics wage scale.

Job Type: Full-time

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
