Letter to Fort Belknap Indian Community Council

This week, REDCO delivered the following letter to the Fort Belknap Indian Community Council and the Island Mountain Development Group Board, demanding that they correct their complaint, recently filed in US District Court in Montana, to the extent such allegations and claims misrepresent the intentions REDCO and the Rosebud Sioux Tribe.

REDCO holds the position that a significant degree of information within the complaint -as it relates to REDCO and the Tribe has been used out of context to support various accusations, directly or indirectly, against REDCO.  Whether direct or indirect, these accusations do not accurately reflect our organization's actions, values, principles, or intentions. REDCO has always been committed to fostering positive relationships, maintaining transparency, and upholding the highest ethical standards within our operations, especially when working with sister tribes.

We are taking measures to ensure IMDG and the Fort Belknap Indian Community address any false innuendo as it relates to REDCO and the Tribe. We believe justice will prevail in a manner that corrects the record and benefits both REDCO and the Fort Belknap Indian Community, as well as IMDG.
