POSITION: Senior Level Architect-Project Manager
REPORT: Executive Project Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Salary/Exempt
JOB SUMMARY:
Rosebud Construction, Inc. (RCI) is currently seeking a full time Architectural Project Manager to join our team. We are looking for a self-directed individual to deliver a full spectrum of architectural services, including programming, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration. The position also requires managing correspondence with local and federal agencies, coordinating our great team of consultants, compiling outline spec’s, responding to RFP’s, approving Submittals and closing out projects. Position will be based in-person at the Rapid City office but may require occasional travel to jobsites.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR THIS POSITION:
Proficiency in AUTOCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of building codes
Developing initial estimates on construction costs, build times and special requirements
Produce detailed construction drawings from program stage to stamped and approved sets
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree.
10+ years of experience in architecture
Licensed South Dakota Architect or ability to obtain licensure within 2.5 months
Hands-on construction experience preferred
Successful experience managing time, people and project priorities
A history of working with clients to determine requirements for Residential and Commercial projects
