HR Assistant Intern – Part-Time Temporary

Hours: Approximately 15–20 hours per week

Reports To: Human Resources Department

Position Summary

The HR Assistant Intern will provide temporary, part-time administrative support to the Human Resources Department while gaining hands-on experience in human resources operations. This position is ideal for an individual who is interested in learning more about HR, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and general office administration.

The HR Assistant Intern will work closely with the HR team and assist with day-to-day tasks while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist the HR team with general administrative and clerical tasks.

· Help organize and maintain employee files and HR records.

· Assist with preparing and organizing new-hire and onboarding materials.

· Support recruitment activities, including organizing applications, interview materials, and scheduling interviews.

· Assist with employee communications, forms, and HR documents.

· Help track required employee paperwork and compliance training.

· Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.

· Help prepare materials for meetings, trainings, and HR events.

· Provide general office support to the HR Department as needed.

· Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and organizational information.

· Complete other duties and projects assigned by the HR team.

Qualifications

· Interest in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field preferred.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software and systems.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Professional, dependable, and willing to learn.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

· Previous HR or office experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule

This position primarily involves office-based work, including computer use, filing, organizing documents, attending meetings, and assisting with general HR activities.
